About the Practices

 

TriYoga Flow

This class begins with pranayama breathing exercises, moves into a flow with asanas (yoga postures) focusing on alignment, and ends with Savasana (relaxation) and Surya Candra (Sun/Moon) breath.

Aqua Yoga

Take your yoga practice into the water! Flowing in the water will challenge the balance of the Yoga postures and will release the tension that may be experienced on the mat. This is a fun, creative class using floating noodles for support.

 

Reiki

A reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and overall wellbeing.

Mindful Stretches

Is your mind full, or are you mindful with each breath?
This class blends Tai Chi, TriYoga, and Healing Qigong into one flowing session. We begin with Tai Chi to warm up the body, move into TriYoga for strength and flexibility, and finish with Qigong and Yoga Nidra for relaxation and renewed energy.

Keep an eye out for Mindful Partner Stretching classes too, where you and a friend can deepen stretches, support each other, and add a sense of playfulness to your practice.

TriYoga : has a beautiful flow transition to each Asanas yoga poses, and helps to strengthening and building flexibility.

TaiChi: all about focus and balance, building this inner strength, moving with grace , slow and smooth movements, bringing calmness.

Healing Qigong: tapping, bouncing, shaking to relax and bring full vitality to body and mind. Bringing more awareness of your own intuition with energy work. (can change your mood and bring a smile:-)

Semi-Private Yoga

MaisonBalance is open to private & semi-private yoga sessions for small groups. With experience in prenatal yoga, kids yoga, teens, couples and our elderly community members, Géraldine will craft a custom yoga session that meets your needs.


What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy” and is a natural energy-balancing and renewing method. The Reiki practitioner focuses on removing energy blocks and activating energy flow. Reiki can be used in conjunction with any other technique of health-care treatment as well as with any other personal growth therapy. Reiki does not conflict with traditional medicine and can be used as an additional source for restoring vital energy and promoting health and well-being.

Distance Reiki Healing is available from 30-60min.

Love in Action Retreat with Bhante in Kandy, Sri Lanka - Next Retreat is in July 8-17 2025

This summer I was excited to travel to a destination I had never been to before, to experience a new culture and discover sacred and ancient places, eat new delicious foods as well as give to and help people in need, expanding the heart and compassion during the Love in Action retreat in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It was a unique experience that I would love to share with you.
